How is the film distributed: When a film is produced and distributed by an independent production company and independent distributor (meaning outside the studios), generally an international sales agent handles the licensing of international rights to the film.
How is the film produced: Film producer. Film producers fill a variety of roles depending upon the type of producer. Either employed by a production company or independent, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting script, coordinating writing, directing and editing, and arranging financing.
How is a film marketed: As with all business, it is an important part of any release because of the inherent high financial risk; film studios will invest in expensive marketing campaigns to maximize revenue early in the release cycle. Marketing budgets tend to equal about half the production budget.
How is a film exhibited: Exhibition is the retail branch of the film industry. It involves not the production or the distribution of motion pictures, but their public screening, usually for paying customers in a site devoted to such screenings, the movie theatre.

LO: to explore the intertextuality of The Lego Movie
Emmet an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules,
is
mistakenly identified as the Special -- an extraordinary being and the key to saving theworld.
He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are
on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the world.
Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly -- and hilariously -- unprepared for
such a task, but he'll give it his all nonetheless.

They fight a brutal battle for their lives against a cadre of viciously intelligent secret agents. It is a truth that could cost Neo something more precious than his life.

LEGO – The Building Blocks to Success
What are the building blocks of success?
While there are all sorts of great examples of content marketing, a common theme is that a brand will create useful or entertaining content targeted at consumers that will soon be in a position to pay for the company's services/products; the actual content itself can be almost anything but it should stay within the spirit of the brand's image, even if it is not strictly related. Think about Red Bull's Stratos project among others – do you really need an energy drink to jump from space?
What did lego do right?
but instead the company brought in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (of 21 Jump Street and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs fame) to create a genuinely funny and clever movie.
how has it laid the foundations for future success?
Other directors will take inspiration from there idea of making a funny and serious movies at the same time.
